Shannon Beattie from Anvil Media recently interviewed Tom Longmire about the use of variable rate technology (VRT) and precision agriculture (PA) on the family farm at Beaumont, near Esperance in WA – a 5,700 ha cropping enterprise. The Longimires have been employing PA techniques since Tom's dad Phil, went on a GRDC-sponsored Nuffield trip in 2004.
