The SPAA Precision Ag Expo, held annually in a key SA growing region, has delivered quality education and innovation in precision agriculture education to South Australian producers for over 20 years.
The 2024 Precision Ag Expo is supported by funding from the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry as part of its Support Regional Trade Events Program.
This year, the team will head to McLaren Vale with a bumper program showcasing how the latest in PA, robotics and machine automation can improve productivity and business operations. As a producer-focused event, the Expo will feature peer-to-peer learning, hands-on demonstrations and exposure to the latest research, trends, and opportunities in PA.
Growers, agronomists, researchers, advisors, policymakers, students, and innovators across all farm producing sectors.
We know that it's a busy time of year, so the program has been scheduled with viticulture focused sessions in the morning and broadacre sessions in the afternoon.
First Nation's people who are keen to learn more about precision agriculture are encouraged to attend and contribute their knowledge on data-driven agriculture.
The McLaren Vale Function Centre is located on the corner of Main Road and Caffrey Street, McLaren Vale SA, 5171. It is approximately a 45 minute drive from both the Adelaide CBD and Adelaide airport.
The venue offers state-of-the-art conferencing facilities, expansive indoor and outdoor areas for exhibitors, delicious food and beverage and free parking. Accommodation is available at the adjoining McLaren Vale Hotel and Apartments. For attendees of the SPAA 2024 Precision Ag Expo, advise hotel staff that you are attending the SPAA Precision Ag Expo to receive a 10% discount on your accommodation.
SPAA plans to deliver a “double knock” approach by engaging advisors to talk to the research and trends backed up by producers demonstrating the innovation from first-hand experience.

The Precision Pitch is an opportunity for developers of precision agriculture (PA) innovations, and who are in the early demonstration and market validation stage, to pitch their product to an experienced panel and gain encouraging feedback to help guide them to commercial success. The innovation must facilitate precision agriculture across any area of agriculture.
Panellists will provide feedback to each pitch presenter after the last presentation is completed. Panellists will also decide unanimously, who their favourite pitch is, and they will be presented with an award from the event host. A People’s Choice award will also be presented based on audience feedback.
Registrations have closed. Please contact SPAA at communications@spaa.com.au if you still want to attend.
Expo prices have been subsidised by our partners and includes all catering and sundowner between 5-6pm:
