Corrigin Precision Agriculture EXPO


SPAA, Wheatbelt NRM and CFIG are running a Precision Agricultue EXPO in Corrigin WA on Thursday 27/7/2017 from 9am - 2:15pm. RSVP by Tuesday 25/7/2017 to or 0468 312 972.

The program is diverse and includes:

SPAA Committee member Frank D'Emden will be updating on the use of maps for better farm management

Are you keen to hear about new technology? Pete Newman of AHRI will be discussing how to use technology for weed control.

Bindi Isbister, WA DAF is lined up to talk about CTF outcomes from Corrigin field trials.Hear about research from the Corrigin local area which is being presented locally by Bindi Isbister for the first time.

A nearby trial underway on the Dempster property will report on soil mapping for variable rate inputs. Dan Dempster will report on progress to date and the work ahead.

Are you interested in seeing your soil profiles? Have you always wanted to ask more about your soils? Michael Eyres from Field Systems will take you to nearby soil pits, explain the soil characteristics and answer your questions.
